The buckwheat roaster machine is a double-shell lying tank, with a diameter of D = 1400 mm. The tank is designed for buckwheat grain pressurized roasting. After 5 bar steam application into the interstitial space, the tank is filled with specified grain portion (previously prepared in a buffer tank mounted on strain gauges), then the manhole is closed with a lid, 6 bar steam is applied and the tank rotates for a specified period of time. The last step is unloading the buckwheat groat sprouts into a 304 stainless steel buffer tank while the rotating continues.
