Technological Pipebridges EPC contract for new Tauron’s Jaworzno 910 MW Power Plant is in progres. Our contract scope includes design, foundation works, prefabrication and delivery of steel structures, delivery and assembly of steam and heating water pipelines, delivery and installation of cable trays, electrical and automation installations, together with hydrogen storage system.
The Technological Pipebridge is the main element connecting the components of the newly built 910MW Powerplant in Jaworzno.
– At the moment, an intensive reinforced concrete foundations works for the Pipebridge are ongoing. Despite the challenges related to the existing infrastructure, the progress of reinforced concrete works is around 30% – this is how the situation is summarized by Lech Gorzoch – Works Manager from the General Contractor – OMIS.
– We have already delivered about 10% of steel structures on Site, they are being pre-assembled on the storage yard and in the near future we are starting the assembly on the foundation – says Katarzyna Podeszwa, OMIS Assembly Manager.
– Construction of Technological Pipebridges at the Jaworzno Power Plant is a very ambitious task in terms of deadlines for implementation, together with coordination of design works, as well as works on the Site. The team working on the implementation includes several dozen of fully engaged people from many branches. There is still a lot to be done, however, taking into account the excellent cooperation with the Purchaser – Nowe Jaworzno Grupa Tauron Sp. z o.o. – we are fully motivated to ensure timely media delivery for the start-up of the J910 MW Power Plant in August this year – summarizes Kamil Gadomski, Project Manager at OMIS.
Technological Pipebridge in numbers:
– total number of concrete foundation feet to be made – 130 pcs (2000 m3 of concrete)
– total number of steel structures – approx. 1000 tons
– total length of the steam network pipelines – approx. 500m
– total length of heating water pipelines – approx. 3 km
